1. Why this document exists
The Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce requires an operator to display defined business information where a consumer can easily find it. This document carries ours.

3. Our role
Tokyofishmarket is a marketplace. For items sold by independent sellers we are an intermediary: the contract of sale is between you and the seller, and the seller is responsible for the item, its description, its delivery, and its conformity, as section 7.1 of our Terms of Service describes. We are the seller only for items we list from our own inventory, marked TFM Official.

5. Terms and how to read them
Our Terms of Service govern your use of Tokyofishmarket. They are available before you create an account and at any time from our policy pages.
6. Personal information
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy & Data Usage policy.
7. Age
7.1 You must be at least 16 years old to create an account (Terms of Service, section 5.1). To sell, to receive payouts, or to view content marked for adults, our terms require the age of majority where you live if it is higher than 18; in Korea, that age is 19 (Terms of Service, section 5.3). If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need the permission of a parent or legal guardian to use the platform (Terms of Service, section 5.2).
8. Complaints and disputes
Write to support@tokyofishmarket.com. If we cannot resolve it, you may bring the dispute to the Korea Consumer Agency or another competent body.
9. Changes to this document
We change this document only as section 19 of the Terms of Service allows. Every version is kept and dated. You can read the history from the link at the foot of this page.
