How do I list an item for sale?

Go to Sell > Create Listing. Search our catalog to find your item (we have 7M+ products indexed), select the condition, set your price, upload photos, and publish. Pro sellers can auto-publish; new sellers go through a brief review. Listings are searchable immediately after approval.

How do I buy from a seller?

Browse marketplace listings like you would any product. Each listing shows the seller's trust tier, rating, and response time. Add to cart, checkout with any supported payment method. Your payment is held in escrow until you confirm delivery. If anything goes wrong, you're covered by buyer protection.

What are the fees?

Listing is free. When your item sells, Tokyofishmarket takes a 10% commission. Payment processing fees (Stripe) are included in that 10%. Shipping costs are set by the seller. There are no hidden fees, no subscription required to sell. Subscription plans offer perks like lower commission rates and featured listings.

What happens if there's a problem with my order?

If an item arrives damaged, not as described, or doesn't arrive at all — open a dispute from your order page. You have a 48-hour claim window after delivery confirmation. Tokyofishmarket acts as the middleman: the buyer never deals with the seller directly on disputes. We review evidence from both sides and issue a resolution. At launch, buyer protection means full refund for valid claims.

How does seller verification work?

Every seller starts unverified. As you complete successful transactions, your trust tier increases. Higher tiers unlock perks: featured placement, lower commission, auto-publish listings. We also verify identity for pro sellers through Stripe Connect. Trust tiers are visible on every listing so buyers know exactly who they're buying from.
